After 2 years of working abroad, I noticed a job change. I moved my center of life back to Germany and took up the position of an IT specialist in a service operation center in my hometown of Erfurt.
In addition to monitoring IT systems for a large number of customers, my main tasks were also the support of video conferencing systems. In addition, I also got to know the handling of storage systems and the virtual use of computer resources.
Unfortunately, my time at IBM was only very short, because after just a few months my boss left the company to build a new team in another company. Therefore, I also had the opportunity to change and get to know new exciting activities.
