Between May and October 2016, we held various events, including a fairly extensive workshop with the aim of building a 3D printer. We have experienced members who are very familiar with the subject and have completely redesigned the model. In the workshop, five new 3D printers were created, which are actively used today. Further printers, as well as another workshop are planned for 2017/2018.
In addition, there were various information events on the topics of wood, 3D printing and community. We had a visit from a founding institute and introduced ourselves at various events, including “Kultur flaniert” and the “FH Gründerwoche”. All this is to be continued and expanded.
In January 2017, we moved into the rooms in the KrämerLoft CoWorking Space with the Makerspace and diligently renovated, so that we have had about 70 m2 of basement space available for our projects and creative work since June 2017.
After the Makerspace had grown over the months, it was no longer necessary to continue financing the project from private funds. With the Krämerloft Co-Workingspace as a partner, we have found the right rooms for the future.
